Did a complete apartment update:  ripped out the old carpeting, refinished the floors, new paint, new custom design ' wallpaper' wall using a Venetian player technique with five different shimmer colors, repainted cabinets, new drawer handles, painted shelves, painted lights, build a custom lamp out of a vase, recovered the furniture, replaced old art, kept the frames and added new mirrors for a touch of glamour to the update.  Was on a small budget and did all the labor myself and saved over $10,000.
